About V. Salem Development Corp. 

Established in 1995, V. Salem Development Corp. is a general contracting firm headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We attribute our success to having the best standards in project management including efficient planning, well-managed schedules, and strict budgets. Our team provides personalized service and excellent communication throughout the process.

Salem has a passionate and hard-working management team. Project Executive Vic Salem is hands-on with each project. Salem prides itself on excellent communication and a team atmosphere.

President

Vic Salem founded V. Salem Development Corporation in 1995. Vic specializes in site selection, commercial and residential development and construction across the five major property types, Including adaptive reuse projects.

He works with his multi-disciplinary team to develop preliminary construction budgeting and financial analysis, pre-construction and value engineering, improve schedule, control costs, identify project risk and develop mitigation plans to better oversee and manage the overall direction of multiple projects.

He brings with him two undergraduate degrees from St. Louis University and a Master of Business, Operations Management, from Wake Forest University.

Director of Interior Design & Procurement

Hollie joined V. Salem Development in 2016 as the Project Manager for Interior Design and Procurement. Her responsibilities include the selection of FF&E options and finishes to meet specific project requirements, working with Brand Flags to coordinate model room reviews and any necessary custom piece adjustments, and maintaining relationships between hospitality reps and sales managers to ensure the best possible pricing.

Hollie received her bachelor’s degree from Queens University of Charlotte where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. After graduating, she worked as an assistant jewelry designer and as a buyer for a nationally owned clothing store. She joined Salem to focus on her passion for interior design while applying her background knowledge of project management and purchasing.

When not working, she enjoys sewing, thrifting and home DIY projects. She also actively fosters and volunteers with local dog rescue – South of the Bully.

Since 1995, V. Salem Development Corporation has delivered quality commercial and award winning residential construction projects.
